Sound and visual installation, using noisy sounds from domestic appliances.

These domestic machines are turned into new unidentified, sonic objects. They are decontextualized and given new functions. It results in a creation of organic sounds of distinct frequencies. They are sonic UFO's.

The name and the performance are based on the movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind and this was presented in several venues in Oporto in 2003.
