Mitch Ansara a.k.a. Spacesick created a number of mock retro paperback book covers for I Can Read Movies, a fictional series of movie novelizations, paying homage to the covers of Germano Facetti (Penguin's famed art director of the 1960s).
Here is my selection.

Pythagoras, the Greek mathematician and philosopher, is credited with saying, “There is geometry in the humming of the strings. There is music in the spacing of the spheres.” This idea of the “Music of the Spheres” has endured over the centuries, ultimately informing how Kepler visualized the movements of the planets, which led him to formulate his laws of planetary motion. The notion that the stars, planets and galaxies resonate with a mystical symphony is a rather appealing one.

If you are curious about how this music would sound, here is the Wheel of Stars, an application created by Jim Bumgardner that takes the positions of stars in the sky, maps them, and then has it make an ethereal musical tone whenever a star crosses the meridian.
An incredible hypnotic sound ambient.

Douglas Coupland is one of my favorite novelists/visual artists. He created Slogans For The Early 21st Century. Phrases for the generation that grew up with the internet, which cannot imagine a world that is less connected than it is now. These make references to the irreversible changes in human life that has been caused by the use of modern technologies.
The absurdities of a digital world.
