Better Living Through Chemistry is a limited edition sculpture series of over-sized capsule-shaped objects emblazoned with text messages, abbreviations, acronyms and slang created by Edie Nadelhaft. A snarky commentary on our over-medicated society.
The artist was inspired by the ubiquitous presence of social media in contemporary culture and the simultaneous rise of direct-to-consumer pharmaceutical marketing. Edie calls attention to the absurdity and futility of expressing such things in 140 character messages.
An era of emptiness awaits huge change…

So many great bits in this video for the new musical mad scientists I've just found out, Royal Canoe. Throwing rock, pop and hip hop into a blender to create catchy-as-hell, dance floor-ready songs with odd time signatures and distorted vocals.
Bathtubs was directed by Nathan Booey. Great editing, watch it below!

Welcome to the magic world of Portland based artist Southern Salazar.
These are all 6,5 x 6,5 inches drawings. Drawings that happen to be created using watercolor paint, and just a touch of collage thrown in for good measure. I definitely love his characters. I don't know which one I prefer… maybe the tiny pet goat, or maybe the dinosaur next door or even the neighbour looking for his dog.
